§ An automated inventory management system and an automated promotion management system were implemented

Results:

§ The inventory level was reduced by 12%

§ Out of stocks were reduced by 31%

§ Labor costs for preparing the network for promotions were significantly reduced

PIZZA DAY:

The following work was performed within the project:

§ An audit of master data and existing business processes As Is was conducted

§ Improved business processes based on global best practices were implemented

§ A demand forecasting and stock management system 4PROFIT SCM was implemented

Results:

§ The inventory level was reduced by 19%

§ Out of stocks reduced by 35%

§ The chain doubled the number of TTs without increasing the number of personnel involved in managing inventory

BaDM:

The following work was performed within the framework of the project:

§ A financial model for inventory management was developed

§ The BaDM “Auto-order” system was adapted to use economically justified inventory management parameters

§ Inventory standards for each SKU are calculated individually depending on financial and economic feasibility, which made it possible to move away from the principle of inventory management “under one comb”

Results:

§ Inventory at the company’s regional warehouses was reduced by 20%

§ The reduction in inventory balances occurred without an increase in out of stocks
